The Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center is excited to announce the launch of a powerful new ad campaign by the American Center for Law and Justice to combat the misinformation being spread by the State of Massachusetts and its activist allies about the life-saving work of pregnancy resource centers.
Last year MLLC filed a lawsuit in partnership with the ACLJ against Governor Healey, the MA Department of Public Health, and their associates at Reproductive Equity Now. MFI also published updates on the state’s malicious smear campaign targeting pro-life pregnancy centers. Organizations like our client, Your Options Medical, have faced defamation, intimidation, and harassment because of their pro-life stance and deeply held Christian beliefs.
MLLC is committed to fighting back against these unconstitutional assaults. Now, this new ad campaign will directly counter the state’s efforts to mislead women and shut down pregnancy resource centers in order to push more abortions. We are grateful to the ACLJ for this significant investment of their resources to protect pro-life centers and combat anti-life disinformation in Massachusetts. Below is the press release issued on behalf of the ACLJ detailing their bold campaign.
MLLC and ACLJ will continue to stand strong in defense of life and protect pregnancy resource centers from these unlawful attacks.

BOSTON, March 5, 2025 /Christian Newswire/ – The American Center for Law & Justice (ACLJ) is proud to announce the launch of its biggest multimedia campaign to defend unborn babies, mothers, and pro-life healthcare professionals.
Late last year Massachusetts launched a state-sponsored smear campaign designed to paint pro-life pregnancy centers, also known as Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs), as dangerous and deceptive.
PRCs actually provide women in need with an expanded range of care and support services from trained workers and licensed professionals, usually at no or low cost, in a caring, supportive environment.
The state is using tax dollars to attack pro-life centers and pressure women into making one choice: abortion. They’re using deceptive advertising to alarm unsuspecting pregnant women with a litany of dangers to their health and well-being.
They’re accusing PRCs of the very heinous practices that abortion clinics are guilty of committing. In fact, since the Massachusetts campaign was launched more than six months ago, the state hasn’t received a single complaint about PRCs that would back up their claims.
The state known for its grand act of rebellion against taxation without representation is now willfully disregarding the feelings of its pro-life citizens. If the people of Massachusetts can’t rely on their government to protect their beliefs, the ACLJ will.
That’s why the ACLJ launched a counter-campaign utilizing outdoor, streaming, and digital advertising to combat the blatant lies about PRCs with truth and lifesaving information and resources – while also sharing stories of the hope and support PRCs provide to women in need.
“I was in Boston and saw the billboards smearing these lifesaving pro-life pregnancy centers, which was upsetting enough,” said Logan Sekulow, ACLJ Director of Media. “But then I learned that they were being sponsored by the state of Massachusetts, using taxpayer money, and I was appalled. Something had to be done to drown out the deceptive messaging that is harming women in need. It is our hope that this counter-campaign will not only help undo some of the damage already caused by the smear campaign, but also make a positive impact on people’s lives. By providing real choice and hope, we can save innocent lives.”
The new campaign, “Choice Begins Here,” will blanket the entire state of Massachusetts to promote the good work – the lifesaving work – of pro-life centers. To view the campaign and learn more, go to ACLJ.org/SaveBabies.
